Tour Description
Blue Dolphin Marine Tours - Dolphin Tour.
Come on board Blue Dolphin and relax while we look for dolphinS, dugongs, turtles and other marine life.
We cruise the waters of the Great Sandy Strait right beside Fraser Island. Here we can encounter 2 species of dolphins, the bottlenose dolphins and the lesser known indo-pacific humpback dolphins.
Our tours have been operating since July 1997 and we have bettered 95% sucess rate of finding the dolphins.
Peter Lynch your skipper is Hervey Bay's most experienced marine mammal expert with 24 years working with dolphin and whales. He spent 12 years with Seaworld and a summer season with the Australian Antarctic Division and has been operating whale and dolphin tours in Hervey Bay since 1997.
The dolphin tour is a half day tour leaving at 8:30 am and returning approx 12:30 pm.
Morning tea is provided. We can also offer swimming and sailing after spending time with the dolphins.
