This is not a tour - it is a 4wd self-drive experience where you book on as a group of 3 to 5 people.
Vehicle is hired with full tank of fuel must be returned with a full tank of fuel.
Vehilce must be cleaned at the car wash with an underbody wash on return.
Drivers must be over 21 and have held a current drivers licence for 2 years min.
- Included in price:
- This package includes; 3 days 4wd hire with camp equipment for 3 to 5 people; 3 person dome tents, camp chairs, cool box (esky), cooking equipment (gas cooker with gas refills, pots, pans, whistling kettle, washing up bucket, cutlery, cups, bowls, tea towels etc), optional camp table. It does not include consumables - fuel, food etc We organise your return barge, camp permits and vehicle access permits, these are paid to operator as local charges at time of hire.

- Sleeping bags and torches for hire at $10 per item
- What to bring:
- Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, walking shoes, sandals, camera, water bottle, torch, mobile phone.

Tour Description
If you want to see Fraser Island with a group of friends or family, save money and have the freedom of your own 4wd, then a Group Getaway is for you!
This is a 3 day 2 night self-drive 4wd experience to Fraser Island.
You get a customised itinerary that coincides with the low tides on the eastern beach where you can drive along the beach to see the Maheno shipwreck and the coloured sands, stopping at the famous Eli Creek. This 3 day getaway allows you to travel as far as Indian Head on the second day tides permitting. But thats not all Lake Wabby is a must and with so much time you'll get an enjoyable visit to Lake McKenzie, with plenty of time to get the 3 or 5 pm barge.
